About
Legal experience spanning analysis through to implementation.
I began my career as a legal specialist in the financial sector and subsequently moved into health insurance. After obtaining a master’s degree in law, I worked in the field of legislation, where my responsibilities included coordinating legislative work and developing legislation related to the relevant policy area.
In total, I have contributed to the development of four new laws and their implementing legislation. I also have experience in crisis management and related legislative work.
I have extensive knowledge of the healthcare, social and education sectors, as well as public law. I have contributed to several major and significant projects and gained experience in negotiations, policy development, and the organisation of legislative work.
I have coordinated legislative work related to national information systems and the workflows of public authorities, and worked on projects transposing European Union directives and implementing directly applicable EU regulations within the Estonian legal system.
I have contributed to designing workflows that depend on data flows between different national databases. I have also served as a project manager in the legal field and prepared a legal analysis for the creation of a large-scale data system.
I have served as a Data Protection Officer within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation. I currently prepare legal analyses for the implementation of IT systems.
